About Ronald T. Fox
Ronald T. Fox was born and raised in San Diego, California. He
graduated from Crawford High School in 1962, lettering in baseball and golf.
College degrees include a B.A in social science (1967) and M.A. in political
science (1970) from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D in political science
from the University of California, Santa Barbara (1973). He was a
Thord-Gray Fellow in Sweden in 1973-1974. He taught at Poway High School,
where he won an outstanding teacher award, UCSB, and California State University
Sacramento, where he was a professor of government from 1974 to 2010. At
CSUS he taught in the field of international relations and specialized in
courses dealing with nuclear weapons and the nuclear age, national security,
mass media, and the politics of multinational corporations. He was
advisor to the University’s Model United Nations program, which won numerous
best delegation awards. His hobbies include golf, skiing, and travel.
He is married and has two children and lives in Carmichael, California.
